About

What we do...

We specialize in small batch artisan dyed yarns, fibers, hand spun yarn, small batch fleece processing and handwoven rugs. All of the wool used is from sheep herds located in Oregon, Colorado and Montana. We strive to provide the highest quality fibers available. All of the dyes used on our fibers are non-hazardous, non-chrome, low impact, heavy metal-free. We also use foraged and botanically derived materials in our dye vats.

Spinning Oregon Icelandic Sheep Fleece

For many years, I've wanted to be a small business owner.

I began this journey because I've always had a deep love for fibers. Whether that be old tapestries in museums or clothing created by Indigenous peoples from lands near and far. Most especially my Great Grandma Janie’s crocheted creations were foundational and inspirational .She made swans and flamingos five feet tall stuffed and always had themon display above her dining curio cabinet. She taught me and anyone that was interested in learning how to crochet.

After taking a number fiber courses, dye courses and spinning classes, I was hooked. All of the things that I loved were being unfolded before me and all of the possibilities of creation inspired me, and still does.

There's a deep connection between fibers and humanity, and I'm excited to participate in the joining of the two. My larger goals and visions are to become a shepherdess/farmer and own a flock of sheep, as well as other fiber animals. Preserving old traditions and heirloom animal breeds, as well as share my personal contributions with the world by teaching my techniques to other young people with an interest in fiber arts.
